Why do I need a website?

A well-designed website will boost your credibility and increase your chances of being chosen over your competitors. It allows you to showcase your strengths, communicate who you are, what you offer, and why potential customers should choose you. Many people compare companies online before taking the next step, so it's important that your first impression is a good one!


Do you want to work for someone else, or do you want to freelance?

I'd prefer a part-time position with an organization, but am willing to work as a freelancer until I find the right position for me.

What is special about your web design?

You should consider hiring me because I excel at asking the right questions to gather the essential information needed to create a website that meets or exceeds your expectations. Additionally, I possess strong organizational skills. Finally, I have developed this website mostly from the ground up using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and Bootstrap, without relying on any Content Management Systems like Wix or WordPress. I can use WordPress as my CMS, and will be able to customize it via code so that you get a bespoke website that suits your needs.


Who is your ideal client?

My ideal client is a small business or individual.


How much will it cost?

A simple website with one to four pages will cost $400. This is a site that includes YOUR content (copy, pictures and video). Note that this does not include costs such as hosting, domain name, SSL, or business email, etc. If you do not have e-commerce, I'd say budget around $50/month for these costs.


What is your design process?

  2. Proposal, Including Scope of Work
  3. Review scope of work and client pays 50% deposit.
  4. Client fills out questionnaires.
  5. Mockup(s) created and submitted to client.
  6. Client reviews mockups.
  7. Website edited based on feedback. (Iteration 1)
  8. Begin full website draft.
  9. Full site status meeting. (Iteration 2)
  10. Full site edits and function
  11. Making website responsive
  12. Final invoice & get your site live, client pays remaining 50%. (3 Iterations total included in price)

Can I use my own domain name with your services?

Absolutely!


Can you post blog entries and perform other site maintenance after you've launched the website?

Yes, I can do website maintenance for $50 per hour, billed in half-hour increments.
